Medical Excuses

1. Any time your child has a doctors note excusing them from gym they also are out of recess until cleared by MD.

2. When your child is having a medial procedure and they are admitted to the hospital even for a few hours a doctors note is required to return to school.

3. All visits to the ER require a doctors note to return to school.

4.When crutches are required for school a specific doctors note is needed stating crutches are needed at school. NO CRUTCHES IN SCHOOL WITHOUT A DOCTOR'S NOTE.

Absent from School
PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL YOUR  SCHOOL NURSE ANY TIME YOUR CHILD IS GOING TO BE ABSENT FROM SCHOOL.

ANY TIME YOUR CHILD WILL BE OUT FOR 3 DAYS OR MORE A DOCTORS EXCUSE IS NEEDED ON THE DAY THEY RETURN TO SCHOOL.

Physicals and Screenings
All students in Pre K, kindergarten, 1st, 3rd and 5th are required to have a physical.

Vision, hearing and scoliosis state mandated screenings will be done starting early fall. For additional information refer to NYS Screening Guidelines, found under forms tab.
